Barbershop 808 was built around the idea that a great haircut should feel personal. Inspired by the character of old Austin, we've created a space that's welcoming, creative, and relaxed — the kind of place where people want to hang out as much as they want to get a haircut.

The name 808 is a nod to owner Alexis's love of music and the iconic drum machine that helped shape electronic music, hip-hop, and dance culture throughout the 80s and 90s. That influence can be felt throughout the shop, from the playlists to the atmosphere and the independent spirit behind everything we do. Whether you're coming in for a fade, beard trim, classic cut, textured style, or a complete transformation, our team is focused on great craftsmanship, genuine hospitality, and helping you leave feeling like your best self.
